Bleeding Under Big Toe Nail: Will it go down naturally?

Yesterday I was working and dropped a 80 pound load on my right big toe. My toe hurt for an hour or so but no longer hurts when walking. The nail is completely intact however there is some bleeding under the nail. I have been icing it and elevating it, the bleeding has stopped. I guess I want to know if the bleeding will go down on it's own? Or if it will go down on it's own?
