How to resist temptation?

Well earlier i asked if masturbation was wrong for a teen christian, and come to the decision that it is, so now, how do i resist it? Its hard to me to be a christian 'cause my family isn't and they Dont like the fact that i dont like catholisism and prefer christianity so i dont get the chance to go to a christian church, so any tips? Some good sayings from the bible that could help me? :S
